Photographer Marieluisa Lenglachner, in close work with Elena Scheicher, captured Ernst van Hoek for a KALTBLUT exclusive editorial. The work with our model was at the centre of this project, similar to other cooperation between Marieluisa and Elena. They are convinced that every person can find and create their own inner hero/ heroine, and theire aim is to present this hero/ heroine in their photos.
„A fragile man emerges from water at first he struggles to find his way but slowly he transforms into the most glamorous version of himself. Our work combines elements of fashion photography and performance art. We try to encourage a rather playful and situational understanding of photography and fashion. By working together we onset a spontaneous process culminating in the creation of a new character : we always try to adapt the costume and set to the transformation and development of the person’s character.
